The Laboratory of Technological Innovation in Health at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (LAIS / UFRN), in partnership with the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), will hold the “Integrated LAIS Seminar” between March 11 and 13 / ICDE for the Internationalization of Higher Education Training: challenges and opportunities from the perspective of lifelong learning ”. The activities take place in the auditorium of the Metrópole Digital Institute, on the central campus. The action is the first in RN between the two institutions, which in 2021 held in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul the 29th edition of the organ’s International Conference.
According to the organization of the event, the seminar aims to promote discussions on lines of learning, microcertification and educational transnationality, as well as opportunities and models for the internationalization of teaching within universities.

The expectation of the team that coordinates the event is that undergraduate, graduate students, teachers, researchers, civil servants, as well as education managers, participate in the seminars.

ICDE work plan in RN
In addition to the event, the ICDE delegation will participate in a series of work meetings in Natal to discuss the organ’s 29th conference, scheduled for the second half of 2021. The delegation is made up of Torunn Gjelsvik, ICDE’s General Secretary, and Caroline Seville, Organ and Events Coordinator.
The activities of the ICDE and LAIS group to deal with the event in Natal begin on the 10th and continue throughout the week.
