RECsífilis: audiovisual hackathon
RECSífilis arose from the need to strengthen the fight against syphilis in Brazil, using communication as the means to do so. It is the first audiovisual hackathon directed to Social Communication undergraduate students in Brazil. To compete, it was necessary to send a video of up to one minute on the theme: prevention and confrontation of syphilis in pregnant women and congenital syphilis.

According to the competition’s regulations, up to ten student teams will be selected to attend the event in Natal/RN, which will take place between September 16 and 18, 2022.

The first place team will win an immersion in scientific communication at the Complutense University of Madrid, through the Creación de Contenidos Audiovisuales y Digitales para la Investigación y la Docencia (CREAV), LAIS partner in the development of communication initiatives in the scope of the “Syphilis No” Project.
