Between the months of January 2021 and February 2022, the state of Rio Grande do Norte recorded 2,183 deaths among unvaccinated people. The data, released in another report on the pandemic scenario in RN, by the Laboratory for Technological Innovation in Health ( LAIS/UFRN), reinforces the importance of immunization against COVID 19.

According to the researchers’ analysis, in the same period, the total number of deaths among vaccinated people was 30 individuals.

The document brings a detailed analysis of the vaccination process and its repercussion on the occupation of beds and deaths, even pointing out data taking into account the mortality rate among people not immunized or partially immunized.
