The function of the Vaccination in Older Adults platform is to manage the vaccination process of older adults people in condominiums and long-stay institutions, as well as bedridden people, in order to make this process more agile and effective.
From this, a web platform was developed for the registration of older people. This registration allows the platform to create, from the citizen’s vaccination plan, the organization of the best way to be followed by the vaccination teams, to the application of the vaccine. Thus, facilitating the capillarity of the vaccination of the older adults in Natal.
Due to the results of the platform, two more municipalities have joined. Currently, the system has a registry of almost 1,700 bedridden older people and more than 4,000 older people living in condominiums in the municipality.
